Thirty-one local swimmers from the East Central Swim Team will be competing at the SE Indiana Divisional Championships on March 5th-7th in Franklin.
According to Coach Brandon Loveless, “This is a huge accomplishment this year for our team that is comprised of male and female swimmers aged 8-18. With so much uncertainty during this season with COVID 19, the athletes from the East Central Swim Team really persevered and challenged themselves this season. Even though they were only able to compete in a few meets, they trained hard and really put together some fantastic performances at those meets. This led to some great times and we are expecting to place well at the Indiana Swimming Championships and beyond. With the amount of hard work and dedication that these athletes are putting in, we are still hoping for more cut times at the State and National levels along with possible swims in Omaha later this year.”
The East Central Swim Team is coached by Head Coach Brandon Loveless with Assistant Coaches Nick Cummins and Emma Strotman.
