ST. LEON, Ind. — Rylie Seaver, a senior at East Central High School, has been named as a 2017 Indiana Career and Technical Education Award for Excellence recipient.
Seaver is completing the CORE 40 Academic Honors Diploma as well as the CORE 40 Technical Honors Diploma with a 3.99 GPA.
The school says she has taken a wide variety of dual credit and AP courses while in high school and has been very involved in the community through middle and high school.
The Awards for Excellence program identifies and recognizes students, programs, guidance/personnel service, and active partnerships that contribute to high-quality career and technical education in Indiana.
Seaver will receive her award on February 17, during a ceremony at the Indiana Government Center.
