East Central girls soccer wins at South Dearborn

East Central girls soccer won 5-0 Thursday at South Dearborn.  The match at Backman Field was delayed 30 minutes due to weather.

The Lady Trojans scored twice in the first half and three times in the second.  For the game, Payge Callahan and Erika Wells both netted two goals while Ellie Hill accounted for the other.  One assist each was provided by Kendal Fox and Julia Tiemann.

According to South Dearborn’s Jonathan Wismann, Bernadette Wismann shot four times for the Knights while Mikayla Rudisell, Lauren McHenry and Jenna Hufford each took one attempt. Freshman goalkeeper Taytum Barker racked up an impressive 25 saves in the loss.
