(Indianapolis, IN) – Two teams from the East Central FFA Chapter competed at the 96th National FFA Convention and Expo in Indianapolis last week.
The Environmental Natural Resources team of Bryson Dossenback, Shelby Dawson, Alayna Workman, and Isabelle Leurck placed in the bronze emblem category.
Leurck and Workman placed in the silver emblem category competing as individuals while Dawson and Dossenback placed in the bronze emblem category.
The event took place at the Indiana State Fairgrounds and at a tree farm in nearby Thorntown.
The Nursery/Landscape team of Josilyn Tidwell, Kody Schilling, John Kathman, and Aidan Roberts also placed in the bronze emblem category.
Schilling and Kathman placed in the silver emblem category while Tidwell and Roberts placed in the bronze emblem category.
This competition was also held at the state fairgrounds.
“This was a great experience for both teams, and they were able to meet members from all across the country,” East Central FFA wrote on a social media post.
