East Central FFA places 3rd in state contest

(St. Leon, IN) – Four members of the East Central FFA Chapter placed 3rd overall in state competition last Saturday.

The team of Bryson Dossenback, Bradley Kolb, Isabelle Leurck, and Braden McDaniel competed in the Indiana 4-H/FFA Wildlife Habitat Career Development Event at the John S. Wright Forestry Center at Purdue University in West Lafayette.

Kolb was the top individual for East Central, placing 8th out of 33 contestants.

Team members identified preserved wildlife species, completed a general wildlife knowledge exam, evaluated wildlife habitats, and they completed a wildlife management plan from a given scenario.
