Early Voting Hours Expanding to Saturday

(Southeastern IN) – Early in-person voting for the November 5 General Election will expand to Saturday hours this week.

In Ripley County, you can vote early in the 2nd floor Election Room at the Courthouse Annex Monday through Friday from 8 to 4. Saturday hours will be added on October 26 at the Sunman American Legion Post and on November 2 at Shelby Christian Church in Versailles, along with the Annex from 9 to 4 on those Saturdays.

In Franklin County, you can cast early ballots at the County Clerk’s Office from 8:30 to 4 weekdays. The county will add Saturday voting hours on October 26 and November 2, available at the Clerk’s Office, Ignite Church (the former Church on Fire) in Batesville, and the New Trenton Volunteer Fire Department from 8 to 3 both Saturdays. Voting hours at the Clerk’s Office will be extended on Tuesday, October 29 and Thursday, October 31 until 6:30 p.m.

In Decatur County, early voting is available at the County Annex building (the former Washington School) from 8 to 4 Monday through Friday. Saturday hours will be added at the Annex and the Greensburg/Decatur County Public Library on October 26, and on November 2 at the Annex and the Westport Community Building from 8 to 3 on those Saturdays.

In Dearborn County, early in-person voting is taking place on the 2nd floor of the Administration Building weekdays from 9 to 4. The county will add Saturday hours on October 26 and November 2, available at both Dearborn Hills Church in Bright and the Aurora Firehouse, along with the Administration Building, from 9 to 4 both Saturdays.

Early voting wraps up at Noon on Monday, November 4.

On Election Day, November 5, you’ll be able to cast ballots at vote centers in all four counties from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. There are nine vote centers in Ripley County; five in Franklin County; 11 in Decatur County, and 12 in Dearborn County.
