Earline McConnell

Earline McConnell, of Milan, was born on March 23, 1932 in Scottsburg, Indiana, the daughter of Roy, Sr. and Mamie Johnson Brunner.  She married Jess McConnell on September 15, 1951 and he preceded her in death on January 10, 2001.  Earline was a homemaker who loved her children and enjoyed painting, gardening and crocheting.  She was a faithful Christian and member of Negangard’s Corner Freewill Baptist Church.  Earline also loved her companion dog, Daisy.  On Friday, June 23, 2017, at the age of 85, she passed away at her residence. 

 

Those surviving who will cherish Earline’s memory include her children, Darline (Denver) Smith of Ocala, FL, Diane (John) Probst of Milan, Delores (John) Hoffmann of Milan, Angie (Craig) Harmer of Tipp City, OH, Rose (Paul) Brown of Milan, David (Mellissa) McConnell of Dillsboro, Charlene (Kip) Nordmeyer of Batesville, and Chris (Wadeen) McConnell of Milan; 19 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 1 great, great grandchild; 5 sisters and 1 brother.  Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, a great grandson, a brother and a sister. 

 

Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, June 29, 2017 from 12 noon until time of service at 2 p.m. at Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home, 107 Vine Street, Sunman.  Earline’s son-in-law, Brother Paul Brown will officiate the services at 2 p.m.  Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery.
