Metamora, IN — The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office will host a drug take-back event from 5 until 7 this evening at the Metamora Volunteer Volunteer Fire Department on Duck Creek Road. If you have expired or unused medications in your home, it may be time to get rid of them so they aren’t a temptation to others. The event is being held in partnership with Margaret Mary Health, Stayin’ Alive LCC, and the Metamora Volunteer Fire Department. Simply drive through and drop your expired or unused medications in a collection box without ever leaving your vehicle. All staff will be wearing masks and practicing social distancing. Please stay home if you’re sick.
