(Ripley County, IN) – An unidentified man was rounded up with the help of modern technology after fleeing from Ripley County Sheriff’s deputies over the weekend.
Law enforcement conducted a lengthy K9 search for the man who was being arrested for violating a protective order, and Indiana Conservation Officer Michael Ostendorf arrived and deployed a drone.
The unconscious suspect was found a short time later in a wooded area.
Responders say the man was intoxicated, and they were able to reach him and get him some help.
The location of the search was not released.
