Double Shooting Suspect to Stand Trial Next Month

(Brookville, IN) – A January 13 trial date has been set for the Brookville man accused of shooting his wife and a Franklin County Sheriff’s deputy in the early morning hours of December 23, 2022.

Gregory Guilfoyle is facing 11 counts, including Attempted Murder, Aggravated Battery and Domestic Battery.

The case has gone through a series of legal twists and turns since the incident, which happened two years ago next Monday.

A total of six trial dates in the past two years were rescheduled.

Special Judge Brian Hill of Rush County will preside over the trial in Franklin Circuit Court.
