Dorothy L. Ruble, 85, of Greensburg passed away on February 15, 2023. She was born on May 16, 1937 in Decatur County, the daughter of Charles and Gertrude Roof Dean. Dorothy married Virgil Ruble on May 16, 1962. For 18 years Dorothy was a cook at Ross Point. She was a member of the New Point Christian Church.
Survivors include: Children, Debbie (Mark) Schantz, Tim Ruble, Carrie Ruble, and Cindy Ruble; 7 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Virgil Ruble; Sons, Tom Bullard and Donald Bullard; Sisters, Bessie Oster, Katie Siebert and Irene Rousey; and Brother, Howard Dean.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, February 20, 2023 at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home from 12:00 pm until the time of the funeral at 1:00 pm. Rev. Mark Vice will be officiating. Burial will follow at the Rossburg Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Our Hospice of Decatur County.
