Donna M. Dean, age 86, of Aurora, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 31, 2025. She was born on May 14, 1938, in Miller Township, Dearborn County, Indiana, to the late Edwin and Louise (Guard) Bentle.
Donna was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her two sons, Harry E. (Gayna) Dean III of Moores Hill, IN, and Randy Dean of Aurora, IN; three daughters, Glenda (Kenneth) Lows of Moores Hill, IN, Judy (Michael) Bowen of Florence, KY and Teresa Smith of Independence, KY; seven grandchildren, Krystal, Andrew, Rebecca, Jennifer, Harry, Ashley and Brandon; and five great-grandchildren, Elliot, Easton, Elaina, Charlotte and Kiara. Donna is also survived by her dear sister, Linda Rumsey.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Harry Dean, and her parents, Edwin and Louise Bentle.
Donna was a kind and compassionate soul who was deeply loved by her family and friends. She will be greatly missed but forever remembered for the love and joy she brought into the lives of all who knew her.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Mt. Sinai United Methodist Church in Aurora, IN. Friends and family may gather for visitation from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 12:00 PM. Pastor Jeff Burdsall will officiate the service, and interment will follow at Mt. Sinai Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mt. Sinai United Methodist Church or the Alzheimer’s Association.
