(Statewide) – Indiana DNR has announced Free Fishing Days for 2025.
The first one is set for May 4.
On Free Fishing Days, Indiana residents do not need a fishing license or a trout/salmon stamp to cast a line on the state’s public waters.
All other rules, such as seasons, bag and size limits apply.
This year’s other Free Fishing Days are on June 7 and 8 and September 27.
DNR says these present an excellent opportunity to learn how to fish, take your family fishing, or introduce a friend to fishing.
