Batesville, IN — A Dillsboro man is facing a drug-related charge following a traffic stop in Batesville early Thursday morning.
Batesville Police Officer Travis Cook pulled over a pickup truck on State Road 46 near The Waters of Batesville and was assisted at the scene by Patrolman Brent Wesseler.
Police say during the traffic stop, the officers found 2 bags containing a white crystal-like substance believed to be Methamphetamine on the pickup truck driver, who was identified as 32-year-old Justin Blevans. The approximate weight of the seized methamphetamine was determined to be 32.9 grams.
Blevans was arrested and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, which is a Level 3 Felony. He was booked into the Ripley County Jail.
