(Bloomington, IN) – The Indiana Hoosiers have their new coach.

He’s Darian DeVries — the now former coach at West Virginia and before that Drake whom he led to three NCAA Tournaments.

IU is paying a hefty penny to hire him. They bought out the remaining five years on his deal in Morgantown worth roughly $6 million — and signed him to a six-year contract in Bloomington.

He replaces the now-departed Mike Woodson.

In his lone season at the helm, DeVries led West Virginia to a 19-13 overall record, finishing 10-10 in the Big 12.
