Deloris Irene Brebberman, 87 of Batesville

Deloris Irene Brebberman, age 87 of Batesville, passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at St. Andrews Health Care.  The daughter of Alfred and Flora (Meyer) Thie was born on July 29, 1938, in Batesville.

In 1956, Deloris graduated from Batesville High School, and in the fall of 1958, she married her sweetheart, Arthur H. Brebberman. Deloris worked for many years as a bank teller with Batesville State Bank, which became National City Bank by the time she retired.

As a devoted wife and mother, Deloris was a hard worker and always worried about her kids. Of course, she was their biggest supporter when it came to their sports, and for her husband too, during all the years he coached at Batesville. Every year, preparing for Christmas was a labor of love for Deloris; never complained about any of it, just doing what it took to always make a loving holiday together with her family.

Deloris also enjoyed working in her garden and traveling to new places with her husband Art, when they could find the time.  Most of all, she truly loved spending time with her family.

She will be dearly missed by her husband, Art; her children, Jeff (Jenny) Brebberman, Amy (Melvin) Siefert, Andy (Kristel) Brebberman; her grandchildren, Brooke (Michael) Ciresi, Danielle Brebberman, Ben (Erin) Siefert, Lauren (Stephen) Bloom, Tyler Brebberman, Austin Brebberman, Conner Brebberman, and Alec Brebberman; and her great-grandchildren, Kylie Ciresi, Ellie Siefert, Reese Siefert, Beckham Bloom, and Bowen Bloom.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Debbie Brebberman, sister, Marty Hisrich, and brothers, Melvin Thie and Irvin Thie.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, from 11 am – 1pm, followed by 1:00 pm funeral service, all at St. John United Church of Christ, Batesville (Huntersville). Rev. Joey Feldmann officiating.  Burial will follow in St. John UCC Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the St. John UCC Scholarship fund. These can be given by bringing to the services or mailing them to Meyers Funeral Home, P.O. Box 202, Batesville, IN 47006
