Decatur County voters to decide who will be Sheriff, along with other offices

Decatur County, IN — The race for Decatur County Sheriff has garnered the bulk of the attention during the current election cycle, but there are other contested races on the ballot.

The County Council District 1 seat is being contested, as is the race for Washington Township Trustee; Township Board races in Adams, Sandcreek, and Washington townships are contested, and three candidates are running for two at-large seats on St. Paul Town Council.

Decatur County is one of the more than half of Indiana counties that now offer vote centers, which allow voters to cast a ballot at any polling location in their county.

A valid photo ID is required to vote.
