Greensburg, In. — Aurora-based Rohe Asphalt will begin bridge work on County Road 420 W and County Road 100 W over I-74 in Decatur County on or after Monday, May 20, weather permitting. Both bridges will close for approximately 30 days while crews complete polymeric overlays, joint replacements, patching and surface sealing.
Detailed locations are as follows:
- County Road 420 W. over I-74, 3.75 miles west of U.S. 421 (Detour: U.S. 421/State road 3/County Road 500 N.)
- County Road 100 W over I-74, 1 mile west of State Road 3 (Detour: I-74 Frontage Road/U.S. 421)
Closures of the right shoulder on I-74 will occur near these locations as needed.
Both bridges are part of a $1 million bridge rehabilitation project in Decatur and Dearborn Counties. Work will begin on St. Peter’s Road over I-74 in Dearborn County following completion of both bridges in Decatur County.
