(Decatur County, IN) – The Decatur County Sheriff’s Office will conduct the annual Emergency Vehicle Operation training for first responders from May 25 thru June 5.
The training will take place on County Road 250 West from Base to Vandalia roads.
250 West will be closed to all traffic during the training, and motorists will be asked to use an alternate route during the temporary closure.
The annual springtime road closure was approved by Decatur County Commissioners in February.
County leaders want to get out as much advance notice about it as possible to the public after complaints in recent years from residents and motorists who say they were not aware of the shutdown.
