Debra L. James 57, of Aurora passed away Thursday, July 23, 2020 at her residence. Debra was born Monday, April 15, 1963 in Lawrenceburg, IN, the daughter of Lloyd C. Thompson Sr. and Alma (Phillips). Debra worked at the Aurora Walmart as a cashier. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, and playing with her grandchildren.
Debra James is survived by children: Ronald Cunningham II (Jessica) of Aurora; Rachel James of FL; Amanda Clayton of Aurora; Mother: Marie Thompson of Moores Hill; Lloyd Thompson Jr. of Osgood; sister; Kathy Courter of Aurora. 7 Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father: Lloyd C. Thompson Sr. and son; Justin James.
A service celebrating her life will be held 11 AM Friday, July 31, 2020 at Sibbett-Moore Funeral Home in Moores Hill with Pastor Rod Boling officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery. Family and friends may gather to share and remember her 10 – 11 AM Friday also at the funeral home. Memorials may be given in honor of Debra to the Epilepsy Foundation.
