Deborah Jean (Knight) Watkins

Deborah Jean (Knight) Watkins, 65, of Rising Sun, Indiana, passed away Monday, March 28, 2022.

She was born May 13, 1956, in Aurora, IN, daughter of Mary (Kidd) Webb and the late Francis Leon Robinson.

Debbie worked at Thatcher Glass for over 12 years, and Seagram’s Distillery for over 22 years.

Debbie was fun loving, she was the life of the party. She even wore an indian outfit for Thanksgiving, she loved seeing peoples reactions. She liked to gamble a little bit, and loved to dance. Debbie had a nice salt and pepper collection. She loved her dogs “Sissy” and “Jasmin”. Debbie enjoyed traveling with the love of her life of over 24 years, Charles Knight. They made it to all of the states except Alaska and Hawaii. She enjoyed family time the most, especially the time with her grandkids.

Deborah is survived by the love of her life of 24 years, Charles Knight; sons, Gary Dean (Christi) Hill, II. of Aurora, IN, Shane Robert (Olivia) Chase of Greendale, IN; daughters, Angel Lynn (Dennis) Vinup of Greendale, IN and Kim (Clark) Nylin; mom, Mary Jean (Harry) Webb; sister, Brenda (Ernie) Johnson of Aurora, IN; grandchildren, Gary Hill III, Austin McDaniels, Timmy Hill, Peyton Hill, Kennedy McNaughton, Noah Inman, Colton Vinup, Chauntel Vinup, Cheyenne Vinup, Layne Chase, Trinity, Hudson, and Maddox Shackleford, Kelsey and Kyra Nylin; step-brothers and step-sisters, Donna St. John, Randy St. John of Michigan, Lena Kroll and Kim Kroll of Virginia, Darren Webb of Florida and Melinda Webb of Muncie.

She was preceded in death by her father, Francis Leon Robinson; daughter, Shawntel Hill; and nephew, Timmy Johnson.

Friends will be received Thursday, March 31, 2022, 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, 219 Mechanic Street, Aurora, IN.

Services will be held at the Funeral Home, Friday at 11:00 am with Pastor Alex Damico officiating.

Interment will follow in the River View Cemetery, Aurora, Indiana.
