(Dearborn County, IN) – The Dearborn County Sheriff’s Office is out with another scam alert.
County residents have received calls from someone claiming to be a Sheriff’s Office employee, and uses deputies’ names.
The scammer also claims to have jury duty and warrant matters to discuss with you, and authorities say the caller asks for money to take care of the issue.
You’re urged not to send money. Deputies say they never ask for your hard-earned dollars.
