(Greensburg, IN) – Decatur County Memorial Hospital (DCMH) continued its annual tradition of giving this holiday season through a meaningful donation to the Greensburg Community Bread of Life.

Earlier this month, the DCMH team, led by the Patient Accounts department, came together to raise funds to support local families.

DCMH purchased 28 turkeys from O’Mara Foods and made an additional $250 cash contribution to the Bread of Life.

The donation was made in memory of Phyllis Baughman, former DCMH Director of Patient Accounts. DCMH says Baughman’s compassion and dedication continue to inspire the hospital’s commitment to community service.

“These contributions reflect the heart of our team,” said Rex McKinney, President & CEO of DCMH. “Phyllis believed deeply in caring for people, both within and outside our hospital walls. We are honored to continue this tradition in her memory.”

The donated turkeys will be used in the Bread of Life’s Thanksgiving meal, helping ensure that community members receive a warm and welcoming holiday dinner this week.
