DECATUR COUNTY, IN — The Decatur County/Greensburg Inclusion Park Committee took part in a matching grant campaign during the month of December with Patronicity, with the stipulation that if the Committee raised $25,000, the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority (IHCDA) would match that amount.
At the end of the campaign, the Committee raised $70,565 with help from the community and local businesses.
With the matching grant from IHCDA, the total amount raised for the Inclusion Park was $95,565.
“Without the help of the community and businesses, this campaign could not have been successful,” said Project Director Brendan Bridges. “This was a great way to kick off funding for the future Inclusion Park and we are excited to be moving forward. We still have a lot to accomplish, but we know the Inclusion Park is well on its way to becoming a reality for our community.
“The Inclusion Park will benefit everyone in the community and is something that everyone can enjoy,” Bridges added.
In a statement, the Inclusion Park Committee is thanking Patronicity and IHCDA for their support of the project.
