(Decatur County, IN) – The Decatur County Community Foundation recently awarded a total of $38,558.71 in grants to several fire departments and EMS in the county.
The grant funds will be used for equipment purchases and other needs.
The recipients and award amounts are as follows:
- Clarksburg Volunteer Fire Department, $2,220, lift assist equipment;
- Decatur County EMS, $980, pediatric response gear bags;
- Greensburg Fire Department, $11,914, mechanical CPR for manpower limitations;
- Letts Volunteer Fire Department, $4,282.71, labor and delivery patient simulator;
- Marion Township Volunteer Fire Department, $7,183, outfitting a multi-use vehicle with emergency lights;
- St. Paul Volunteer Fire Department, $7,000, new firehouse;
- Westport Volunteer Fire Department, $5,000, new pumper fire truck.
