St. Louis-2 51 St. Catherine’s 41
St. Louis-2 used a balanced scoring to advance to the 2nd round of the Deanery Tournament. St. Louis-2 jumped out to a quick lead and led 21-9 after the 1st quarter. It was important for us to get off to get a good start. I felt we were focused and ready to play. St. Louis-2 led would grow to 18 after 2nd quarters. In the 3rd quarter St. Louis-2 would continue to play well and would enter the 4th quarter with 44-29 led. But St. Catherine’s-2 would not give up as they were able to continue battles but would not be able to overcome the early lead by St. Louis-2. We played well for most of the game and now we need to continue the good play as we move forward in the deanery tournament.
