Ripley and Jefferson County, IN— Indiana Department of Transportation maintenance crews will begin culvert replacement work began this week on S.R. 62 in Ripley and Jefferson Counties. A total of six pipes will be replaced between Cross Plains and S.R. 250 near Canaan.
This will result in daily road closures from approximately 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. The replacements are expected to be complete by the end of next week. Access will be maintained for all residents within the closure.
Motorists are reminded to slow down, use extra caution, and drive distraction-free through all work zones. All work is weather dependent and schedules are subject to change.
