Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health has reported that 20,150 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 over the weekend. A total of 295,357 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 2,072,690 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at a 14.2% positive rate and 59 new deaths were reported for a total of 5,040 Hoosiers have died across the state.
Dearborn County has a total of 2,046 cases and 30 deaths reported (up 112 new cases), Decatur County has a total of 1,198 positive cases and 42 deaths (up 76 new cases), Franklin County has 635 positive cases and 25 deaths (up 34 new cases), and Ripley County has 1,214 positive cases and 14 deaths (up 70 new cases and 1 new death). Locally, this is an increase of 292 new positive cases and 1 new death.
