Greensburg, IN—The Decatur County Council voted 4-2 in favor of increasing their income tax rate from 2.35% to 2.50% in a special meeting today at the Decatur County Courthouse. Several members of the community took time to speak in opposition to the increase due to a lack of understanding of the necessity.
