(Liberty, IN) – A Richmond woman has been convicted of causing the death of a Franklin County Community School Board member who was on the job as a Union County Highway Department worker.
42-year-old Justin Moore of Brookville died in October 2021 when Gina Price drove into him while he spread gravel.
Moore’s co-worker, Douglas Scaggs, was hospitalized with serious injuries.
Investigators say Price had fentanyl and methadone in her system at the time of the crash.
Price was found guilty of three felonies by a Union County jury.
Sentencing is scheduled for later this month.
