This week will find us once again bundling up as winter-like temperatures move back into the region. There is a chance of flurries early Tuesday morning before sunrise with accumulation of less than a half inch expected.
Temperatures will max out in the thirties this week with nighttime temperatures dropping to the teens and single digits.
It has been a cold and sort of strange start to the year. So far, in February, the average daily temperature has been 23 degrees.
It was a welcoming change of pace last week when temperatures reached the sixties, but that was accompanied by storms that produced a tornado near Osgood.
According to the Farmers Almanac, more snow is expected in March, followed by rainy and mild weather come Reds Opening Day on March 31.
