Clyde David Gutman, 83, of Dillsboro passed away Tuesday, November 9, 2021, at St. Elizabeth-Dearborn Hospital in Lawrenceburg. David was born on Thursday, October 20, 1938 in Dillsboro, Indiana, the son of Clyde and Ruth (Bocock) Gutman. David married Rosemary (Scudder) Gutman in 2004. David worked in the factory for Seagrams in Lawrenceburg for more than 30 years. He enjoyed trap shooting and was a member of the Coonhunters Club in Batesville.
David is survived by his wife, Rosemary Gutman of Dillsboro; children David Michael Gutman of Cincinnati, Ohio, Tanya Daciuk of Canton, Ohio, and Angie Wilson of Lawrenceburg; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and brother Anthony Gutman of Versailles.
David is preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Ruth, son Jeff Cosby, 3 brothers: Rudy, Bob, and Charlie, and 2 sisters Michael Ann and Doris.
Family and friends may gather in remembering David from 10 AM – 12 PM Friday, November 12, 2021 at the Filter-DeVries-Moore Funeral Home in Dillsboro. A service will immediately follow at 12 PM also at the funeral home. Memorials may be given in honor of David to the Dillsboro Food Pantry.
