Clocks move forward this weekend

Batesville, In. — Clocks move forward early Sunday to begin Daylight Saving Time. At 2 a.m. residents are asked to move clocks up one hour.

Daylight Saving Time will end on November 3, 2019.

The Indiana Alcohol and Tobacco Commission announced that it will allow the sale of alcoholic beverages on Sunday, March 10, 2019, to continue until 4 a.m.

Without an additional hour, alcoholic beverages sales would need to cease at that time. To allow the same number of service hours on Saturday night, the ATC is, again, allowing the sales of alcoholic beverages to occur until 4 a.m.
