Greensburg, IN – The North Decatur Chargers had one game on the road and one at home this week against Rushville and St. Mary’s, respectively.
On Tuesday, North Decatur travelled to Rushville to take on the Benjamin Rush Cubs. The Cubs defense was a problem that the Chargers couldn’t solve all game long. Final score 13-32 in favor of Benjamin Rush. Scoring for North Decatur was Ryder Shields with 6 points, Colt Morris with 4, and Carson Downey with 3 points.
As the Chargers looked to bounce back from a tough loss with a game at home, they were met again with a very quality opponent in St. Mary’s. Although the offense somewhat found its’ stride, it wasn’t enough to keep up with a balanced attack from St. Mary’s. Final score 30-47 in favor of SMMS.
