On Senior Night, Alex Bischoff was outstanding on the mound. Bischoff pitched 9 innings of no hit baseball while striking out a school record 20 batters. Unfortunately, the FC offense was unable to push across a run and Bischoff had reached his pitch limit. Joe Fields came in in relief, not allowing a hit in 2 innings until Rushville finally broke through with a few hits and 2 runs in the top of the 12th.
In the bottom of the 12th, FC led off with a Dalton Durbin walk and Joe Fields single. After Dominic Reeves sacrificed the runners to 2nd and 3rd with a bunt, Senior Evan Ariens came through with a 2 rbi single to right. Ariens advanced to 2nd on an error. Freshman Hunter Geis entered as a pinch runner and with two outs, Senior Tommy Ratz delivered a game winning, walk off double to right center to score Geis.
