The St Louis 7th grade girls basketball team picked up a victory against St Nicholas Monday night by a final score of 22 to 14.

The seventh grade lady Bulldogs lost a close game to the South Ripley Lady Raiders Monday night by a score of 18 to 15.

Batesville was led in scoring by Kendall Dickman with 6 and

Wrestling Semi-States took place at New Castle on Saturday (2-15).

Three area grapplers advanced to The State Finals which will take place on Friday (2-21) and Saturday (2-22) at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

For STL, Sarah Preston,Hanna Hurm & Avery Roell each had 3 points.

The seventh grade Lady Bulldogs lost Thursday’s game to a talented Benjamin Rush team by a score of 52 to 17.

High scorers for Batesville were Ellie Waechter with 8 and Hattie Westerfeld with 7.

Batesville Middle School Wrestlers were put back on the mat Tuesday night as they hosted visiting Madison Junior High.
