The Batesville Varsity Tennis Team defeated East Central 3-2 on Thursday to advance to the Sectional Championship match.

#1 Singles- Beau Brown was defeated by Jason Bosse 3-6, 3-6
#2 Singles- Blake Walsman defeated Nathan

The Batesville Varsity Tennis Team defeated Milan 5-0 on Wednesday to advance to the semifinals of the Sectional Tournament.

Batevsville will play East Central on Thursday at 5 PM at South Dearborn High School.

The Batesville Lady Bulldogs traveled to Columbus to face the Columbus North Bulldogs in their last regular season game.

The 7th grade football team lost to Greensburg 32 – 6.

The defense was led by Isaiah Riffle, Sam Bowman, and Jacob Cruse.  Ethan Meyer and Charlie Dice had good games for the offensive line.

Batesville hosted its 14th Annual Cross Country Meet Tuesday night.

The Jac-Cen-Del Eagles traveled to Madison to play The Cubs in a Jr. High Soccer. The Eagles lost 2-0 to The Cubs.

The Jac-Cen-Del Junior High Cross Country teams ran in the 7 school ORVC meet at Rising Sun on Tuesday night (9/30).

The girls’ and boys’ teams both finished second in the meet.

The BMS 7th grade volleyball team lost a tough fought battle against the Greendale Bengals by scores of 23-25, 25-15, 15-13.

Serving was led by Jade Plum with 14/14 and 9 pts, followed by Macy

It was an up and down night for volleyball at the dog pound with close sets and blow outs in the same matches at all levels.
