The Batesville Bulldogs softball team hosted the conference leading Franklin County Wildcats Wednesday night with yet again a fairly strong defensive performance minus a couple lapses in judgement.

The East Central Football Boosters Meeting will be tonight starting at 6:30 PM. Meeting will be in the study hall room due to FCCLA Bingo Night already scheduled.

The Oldenburg Academy Twisters got a 7-6 win against The Trinity Lutheran Cougars in Varsity Baseball action to improve to 3-9 on the season.

The Greensburg Boys Track and Field team travelled to North Decatur for the annual County Meet. The Pirates finished second behind South Decatur.

Monday’s match was a challenge right from the start. The weather turned cold and the course was rough from all the rain.

Batesville defeated South Dearborn 4-1 on Friday to gave the Bulldogs a perfect 7-0 record in the conference and the EIAC title.
