The Batesville girl’s varsity tennis team defeated Franklin Co.

The Oldenburg Academy Lady Twisters Tennis Team posted a 5-0 victory over The Connersville Lady Spartans to improve to 4-0 on the season.

Although the air still had a little bite to it, the sun was shining and the Batesville Bulldogs track and field teams finally got to open up their season, after getting rained out last weekend.

The Greensburg Boys Track and Field team opened their outdoor season at Jennings County Tuesday evening. The host Panthers won the meet with 88 points.

The Batesville golf team had their first match of the season and came out victorious over South Decatur and St.

The Batesville girls varsity tennis team defeated East Central 5-0 to start their season at 1-0 (1-0 EIAC).

#2 Singles- Alana Pinckley defeated Lindsay Bischoff

Batesville lost a heartbreaker in 8 innings to Greensburg Tuesday night. Up 5-2 going into the 7th inning the Bulldogs allowed the 3 runs to score to tie the game 5-5.

The Batesville Bulldogs beat Rushville on Tuesday 8-0 in the season home opener at Liberty Park in seven innings.
