Carrie Hornberger, age 51 of Sunman

Carrie Hornberger, of Sunman, was born on January 21, 1973, in Batesville a daughter to Howard and Audrey Riehle Hornberger.  She worked for McPhersons as a desk clerk and was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church.  Carrie enjoyed crocheting, painting, crafts, ginseng hunting and board games.  On Thursday, October 17, 2024, at the age of 51, she passed away at UC Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Those surviving who will cherish Carrie’s memory include her parents, Howard and Audrey Hornberger; significant other Jamie Denni; three daughters, Laura (Chris) Denni, Emily Denni and Hannah (Devon) Biddinger; one son, Kyle Hartman; 4 grandchildren, Hayley and Deegan Biddinger, Emeliah Denni and Oliver Hartman; 2 brothers, Matt Hornberger and Andy (Joy) Hornberger; two sisters, Jessica (Andrew) Allen, and Shannon (Tony) Lonneman, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Friends may visit with the family on from 4 until 7pm on Monday, October 21, 2024, at Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home, 107 Vine Street, Sunman.  Father Vincent Lampert will officiate the funeral Mass at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at St. Peter’s Catholic Church.  Burial will follow immediately in the church cemetery.
