Carolyn Louise Blanton, 71, of Greensburg, passed away at 3:44 a.m. on Sunday, March 29, 2026, at Morning Breeze Healthcare Center. She was born on July 29, 1954, in San Antonio, Texas the daughter of Max Eugene & Lois Louise (Hutchinson) Louden. She was a 1972 graduate of Findlay High School and received an associate’s degree from the International Business College in Fort Wayne. She was the manager at Skybird Manor for 18 years and worked at Meals on Wheels. She was a member of the Hartsville Church of Christ and enjoyed quilting and reading. Carolyn married Kenneth Eugene Blanton at Burney Baptist Church on December 27, 1981, and he survives. Other survivors include her daughters, Heather Lynn (Andrew) Morrison of Columbus and Joyce Elizabeth Sebastian of Greensburg; her step-children, Dawn LaSarah (Ken) Speck of Sheridan, Indiana and Kenneth Andrew Alexander (Mary) Blanton of Cape Coral, Florida; her sisters, Julia (Danny) Boilanger of Westport and Linda (Tim) Taylor of Hartsville; brother, Dale (Melinda) Louden of Westfield; grandchildren, Cole Sebastian and Garret Sebastian both of Indianapolis and step-grandchildren, Sean Speck of El Paso, Texas and Kevin Speck of Sheridan. She was preceded in death by her father and within two hours she welcomed her mother, Lois Louden at the gates of Heaven. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 3, 2026, at Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport with Rev. Brad Douglas officiating. A time of visitation will be held on Friday, April 3 from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date.
