Carolyn A. Coleman, age 88, of Brookville, Indiana died Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at Bethesda North Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Born June 30, 1936 in Laurel, Indiana she was the daughter of the late Russell & Bertha (Reed) Baker. On August 10, 1956 she became the wife of Robert Coleman, and he survives.
She was a member of Oak Forest Church of Christ.
A homemaker, in her leisure time she enjoyed sewing, quilting, crocheting and cooking.
Besides Robert, her husband of over 68 years, survivors include five children, Jon (Carrie) Coleman of Cincinnati, Ohio, Tom (Ruth) Coleman of Saipan, Mary (Kris Wilson) Knecht of Brookville, Indiana, Amy (Kim) Simonson of Brookville, Indiana, Patty (Terry) Bowling of Brookville, Indiana, a daughter-in-law, Izvethia Coleman of Brookville, Indiana; 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; as well as a sister-in-law, Sandi Baker of Brookville, Indiana.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Joseph Coleman who died April 1, 2025; a sister, Katherine Yocum, and a brother, Russel “Ed” Baker.
Friends & family may visit from 10 to 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at Oak Forest Church of Christ, 13071 St. Mary’s Road, Brookville.
Jim Webster will officiate the Funeral Service at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at the Oak Forest Church of Christ, with burial following in Maple Grove Cemetery in Brookville, Indiana.
