Carol Ann Seals, age 74 of Osgood, Indiana passed away on Friday, May 12, 2023. The daughter of Noah and Amy (nee: Slone) Jacobs was born on April 24, 1949 in Mallie, Kentucky.
Carol married William ‘Bill’ Seals in 1966 and both of them worked` as truck drivers in their earlier years. Carol later worked for GECOM and then Sure-Loc in Versailles. She was always taking care of her family and offering her home for family to move in when needed. Cooking and gardening were two of Carol’s favorites. When the grandchildren were younger, she always did lots of things with them and made sure to include them all the time. She will be dearly missed by all of her family.
Carol is survived by her son Richard Seals (Sandy) and Billy Seals; grandchildren, Matthew Seals, Sarah Seals (Gary Lewis) and Christopher Seals; siblings, Joanne Seibert (Robert), Willa Burns (Michael Collins), Gloria Asche (Rick), Rodney Jacobs, Nora Pennington (Joe), and Noah Jacobs Jr. (Diane).
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bill, daughter, Peggy Seals, grandson, Noah Seals and her brother, Jimmy Jacobs.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 18, 2023 from 1-3pm with funeral service immediately following at 3:00pm all at Meyers Funeral Home in Batesville. Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery, just south of Batesville.
