Carl M. “Kruchef” Wehmeyer

Carl Michael “Kruchef” Wehmeyer, 69, of Aurora, Indiana, passed away Wednesday September 11, 2019 in Aurora, Indiana.

He was born September 26, 1949 in Aurora, IN, son of the late Albert “Wimpy” Wehmeyer and Evelynne (Coghill) Hunt.
He served his country as a member of the United States Navy. He was a proud patriot and he always flew the American Flag.

Kruchef worked as an Automotive Electrician and mechanic for many years. He was an excellent mechanic and he could fix anything from tv’s to radios; in fact there really wasn’t much that he couldn’t fix.

He was a lifetime member of the Aurora VFW and Aurora Eagles.

Carl is survived by his children, Bryan (Sandra) McCracken of Rising Sun, Indiana and Ryan (Jessica) McCracken of Greendale, Indiana; sisters, Susan Martin of Ft. Meyers Beach, FL, and Tina (Aubry) McManus of Arlington, TX.; nieces and nephews, Rachael McManus, Mark Emery, David Lattire & Dean Martin.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends will be received Thursday, September 19 from 11 am – 1 pm at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, 219 Mechanic St., Aurora, Indiana.

Memorial Services will follow at 1:00 pm.

Military services will be conducted by members of local Veterans Service Organizations.
