St. Louis Catholic School competed against 8 teams in the Connersville Invitational on Saturday, May 8th.

Haley Frey finished 7th in the mile with a personal record of 6:31.98 seconds. In the 400 meter dash, Belle Young placed 7th with 1:14.43 and Felicity Brelage placed 8th with 1:14.51. Haley Frey placed 4th in the 800 meter run with 3:03.73 time. Belle Young placed 3rd in 100-meter hurdles with a time of 20.22. Felicity Brelage tied for 5th in 110-meter hurdles with a time of 20.64. The girls 4×400 meter relay team placed 6th with a time of 5:09.62 consisting of Lexi Scheiner, Haley Frey, Belle Young, and Felicity Brelage. Lexi Scheiner placed 5th in the long jump with 13′ 2″ distance, a new personal record for her. Rachel Suttman placed 4th in shot put with 26′ 01″ throw. Rachel Suttman placed third in discuss with 75′ 10″ throw.
St. Louis boys finished third in the Quad Meet with a score of 41.5 vs. 2.5 for Shaw’s Memorial, 56 for South Ripley, and 83 for Jac-Cen-Del.
Marc Meneses finished first in discuss with a 91′ 5″ throw. Griffin Koester finished first in the 1600 meter run with a personal record time of 5:35. The 4×400 meter relay team finished first with a personal record time of 4:40. Griffin Koester, Marc Meneses, Christian Mack, and Santiago Schutte made up the team. Second-place finishes to Christian Mack with a 65.9 second 400-meter run. Third-place finishes to Christian Mack with a 29.12 second 200-meter run, Griffin Koester with a 2:41 800 meter run, Santiago Schutte with a 5:54 1600 meter run, and the 4×100 meter relay team consisting of Christian Mack, Matthew Lambert, Marc Meneses, Cayden Lieland with a time of 59.37 seconds.
Girls had a strong first place finish with 62 points vs. 43 South Ripley, 41 Shaw Memorial, and 28 Jac-Cen-Del. Rachel Suttman finished first in shot put 25’4″ throw and discuss with 69′ 4″ throw. Lexi Scheiner finished first in long jump with 12′ 8.5″ jump. The 4×100 meter relay team finished first in 61.34 seconds composed of Felicity Brelage, Emily Schebler, Lexi Scheiner, and Rachel Suttman. The 4×400 meter relay finished first with 5:21. Rachel Suttman, Haley Frey, Lexi Scheiner, and Felicity Brelage. Second place finishes to Felicity Brelage in hurdles with 20.01 second time, Lexi Scheiner in 200 meter dash with 30.82 seconds, Felicity Brelage in 400 meters with 78.13 seconds, Haley Frey in 800 meters with 3:03 minutes. Third place finishes: Belle Young hurdles 20.12, Belle Young 100 meters 14.79 seconds.
