The 6th grade Cardinals took on the Tigers in Lawrenceburg on Wednesday, November, 14th and were defeated by a final score of 47 to 15.  Despite the loss, the boys played hard until the very end with great enthusiasm.

Ben Miller led the team in scoring with 7 points and had several nice passes to setup his teammates as well.  Sully Hill showed off a nice jump shot by scoring 4 points and did a nice job of finding the open spots on the floor.  Marc Meneses also ended up in the scoring column with a nice offensive rebound and stick back for 2 points.  Marc also had a blocked shot on defense.  Rounding out the scoring was Sam Laloge with two points despite playing with a sore ankle.  Henry Wanstrath led the team in assists with two.  Max Amberger led the team in rebounding with 3.

The boys exemplified what great sportsmanship is all about by not hanging there heads, being supportive of their teammates, and never giving up!  Great job Cardinals!  The 6th grade’s next game is Thursday, November 15th when they take on Laurel at home.
