
The 6th Grade St. Louis Boys Basketball team took on the St. Michael’s Trojans in Brookville on Tuesday, November 6th. The Cardinals came up short losing by a final score of 39-8. Leading the Cardinals in scoring was Henry Wanstrath with 5 points followed by Max Amberger with 3 points. From a rebounding standpoint the Cardinals were led by Max Amberger with 5. Marc Meneses had 4 rebounds followed by Ryan Duerstock with 2, Santiago Schutte with 2, Sully Hill with 1, Max Richardson with 1, Zavier Tekulve with 1, and Ben Miller with 1. Amberger also led the team in steals with 2 while Hill had 1. Despite the result the Cardinals didn’t quit and fought hard throughout the game. The St Louis Cardinals 8th Grade Basketball team moved to 3-0 on the season tonight by defeating the Franklin County Wildcats by a score of 38-27.
