(Batesville, IN) – Third grade students at St. Louis School “took a cruise” with Captain Cash to the islands of Earn, Save, Spend, and Borrow last month.
On each island, they played games and learned important economic skills such as “The more you learn, the more you earn.; “Every pay day, put some cash away;” “There is an end to spend,” and “For a safer tomorrow, be wise when you borrow.”
Baylee Dwenger brought this financial literacy program to St. Louis, and staff it helped make students become eager earners, savvy savers, wise spenders and careful borrowers.
