Busy Weekend for Local First Responders

(Ripley/Franklin Counties, IN) – Local first responders had a busy weekend.

One person was hospitalized following a single-vehicle crash Sunday morning on U.S. 50 east of the Versailles State Park entrance (pictured).

Responding agencies included the Ripley County Sheriff’s Office, Indiana State Police, Versailles Fire Rescue and Ripley County EMS.

The name of the victim and their condition were not released.

First responders were called shortly before 5:30 Saturday morning to a rollover crash on McGuire Ridge Road and U.S. 52 in the Metamora area.

The circumstances surrounding that wreck haven’t been disclosed.

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, Metamora Fire Department and Letts EMS responded.

At least one person was hurt when a vehicle slammed into a house at the intersection of State Road 252 and State Line Road around 12:45 Saturday morning.

Franklin County Sheriff’s deputies, Letts EMS and the Drewersburg Fire Department were dispatched to the scene.
