The Batesville Bulldogs Track and Field team traveled back to South Dearborn Monday night to finish up the eight team South Dearborn Invitational from April 20th that was stopped because of the weather.
It was a battle all night back and forth between the Franklin County Wildcats and the Batesville Bulldogs. The boys came up 3 points short 107-104 to FC as the girls ended up in a dead tie with the Wildcats, both at 124 points. Unfortunately, the men’s pole vault ended up being canceled and not a part of the scoring as the high winds made it too dangerous to vault.
Other teams and their scores in the invitational were…on the boys: Lbrug-93, Oldenburg-80, Switzerland County-40, South Dearborn-16, Rising Sun-14 and South Ripley-9 and for the girls: Switzerland County-107, South Dearborn-64, Oldenburg-59, South
Ripley-41, Lawrenceburg-8 and Rising Sun-7.
