Batesville sent all five varsity spots into the semi-finals of the EIAC individual tournament on Saturday, with four spots making it to the finals.
#1 Singles- Lleyton Ratcliffe defeated Greensburg’s Trevor Foster in the semi-finals 6-3, 6-3. In the finals Ratcliffe defeated East Central’s Chase Lambrinides 6-1, 6-1 to earn the EIAC’s Most Valuable Player and all-conference awards.
#2 Singles- Sam Giesting was defeated in a close match by Greensburg’s Brett Stringer
#3 Singles- Adam Scott defeated East Central’s Logan Huisman in the semi-finals. Scott fell to Connersville’s Gavin Parsley in the finals.
#1 Doubles- George Ritter and Cooper Williams defeated South Dearborn’s Alex Shackelford and Nate Cantrell in the semi-finals and fell to Greensburg’s Logan Smith and Ben Duerstock in the finals.
#2 Doubles- Brayden Worthington and Lane Oesterling defeated East Central’s Gavin Daniels and Luke Kelly. The finals will be finished on Monday, due to rain.
